Facilities

We have arranged a computer lab consisting more than 50 multimedia computers. It is the largest computer lab in its kind which in turn help students to fulfill their practical requirements. Computers have been provided with internet connectivity where students can make use of this facility for their study purpose. In the era of IT, we have made an attempt to make learning more IT-based.

Ours is a vast reference library with around 10,000 books and hundreds of periodicals spreading in various subjects. Such a vast library is indeed a boon to students in the sense that they can make use of it in their study purpose. Books of various niche are available. Further syllabus oriented periodicals are also available in the library. Loan facility is also available. Library is open on college time.

The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility as part of our mission to make learning more IT-based to promote extra reading and reference purpose. In the millennium of IT, students are supposed to be more open to the external world and to ought to grasp changing trends in their respective study area. To meet this ever-vibrant demand we have decided to launch an IT-based learning mission.

We are committed to woman's cause, help them to behold their dignity and feel proud to be a woman. To help the woman in their personal hygiene matter, they have been provided with better sanitation facility equipped with an automated napkin destroyer machine. We are committed, proud to be a woman.

A modern public addressing system have been installed in the campus. Every instruction, news, university updates are given through this system to ensure that no information is uninformed. Information is passed to students on a regular basis to reduce delay in the communications side and thereby hasten the proceedings with the university and other matters.

An active placement cell runs in the campus to help the students in their search of jobs. Students can register with placement cell and they will be informed if any job vacancies found by the cell.

A Career and Course Guidance Center is housed on the campus. The Center offers career and course guidance services for students at all levels. ACE College has a vibrant career guidance cell consisting experts in the career guidance field. Besides we conduct, in regular intervals, motivational and career-oriented class by participating career Gurus. Better guidance is vital for everyone in shaping their future course of life. We would be proud of being a part in directing youths to a shining career.

Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student will not in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student will be treated as ragging.

Ragging of any form is a non-bailable offense and requires the criminal procedure. If any incident of ragging and/or of abetting ragging comes to the notice of the authority, severe action will be taken against such students. The Anti-Ragging Committee shall be headed by the Head of the institution and shall consist of representatives of faculty members, parents, students belonging to the freshers’ category as well as seniors and non-teaching staff. It shall consider the recommendations of the Anti-Ragging Squad and take appropriate decisions, including spelling out suitable punishments to those found guilty.

The Anti-Ragging Squad shall be nominated by the Head of the institution with such representation as considered necessary and shall consist of members belonging to the various sections of the campus community. The Squad will have vigil, oversight and patrolling functions. It shall be kept mobile, alert and active at all times and shall be empowered to inspect places of potential ragging and make surprise raids on hostels and other hot spots. The Squad shall investigate incidents of ragging and make recommendations to the Anti-Ragging Committee and shall work under the overall guidance of the said Committee.

A full fledged University Help Desk is active in the campus to help the students in reducing their dealing with the campus. Students will be provided all assistance in university matters from admission to equivalency matters thereby removing hardship that students usually face in academic matters. College completes almost all works on behalf students so students need not be much worried.

The Audio – Visual Auditorium is a state-of-the-art venue for seminars and academic programmes. It has provisions for LCD Projectors and other hi-tech presentations. It will provide an entirely new experience of programmes and it is the main attraction of our campus. The auditorium can accommodate more than 300 persons at a time. To make lectures more targeted better use of all audio- visual aids are ensured.

Hostel facilities are provided to students who are from distant locations. Hostel facility will be made available to students on their request in the vicinity of the campus itself. They are bound to pay hostel fee plus mess charges. Hostel and mess charges will be as fixed by the college from time to time.
